Hitchens on Steyn on Islamism
A very good review by Christopher Hitchens of Mark Steyn's America Alone: Facing the Islamist Menace from the Winter 2007 issue of The City Journal.
And from previous issues: Theodore Dalrymple's The Gift of Language; Kay Hymnowitz on The Trash Princess, subtitled "Why Americans Love to Hate Paris Hilton"; Gary Garibaldi's How the Schools Shortchange Boys; another by Kay Hymnowitz, Desperate Grandmas, subtitled "Now sexagenarians, narcissistic feminists are still seeking the Best Sex Ever"; Dalrymple's "Oh to be in England" column, this one titled It's This Bad. I could keep going, but this will keep you going for a while.
