Atlantic Theological Conference
In case there's a Touchstone reader or two along the lovely Saint John River: I'll be giving a talk on sanctification and Dante's Purgatory at the Atlantic Theological Conference, in Fredericton, New Brunswick, on Wednesday, May 30, at 7:30 PM. That's if we can make the 500 mile drive there in time -- my family and I, the dog Stanley, and two cats, in a car and a pickup loaded with everything except Granny and a shotgun. The conference looks really fine, with several excellent speakers (including the great Rev. Peter Toon, erstwhile contributing editor for Touchstone) and a lot of time devoted to worship and song, with afternoons free for wandering about a small jewel of a city. You don't have to sign up for the whole thing, though, so by all means if there are any Touchstone Canucks within the sound of my e-voice -- maritime Canucks, eh? -- I'd be delighted to meet you.
