Sotomayor Worse than Souter: AUL
That's the conclusion of American's United for Life; its President, Charmaine Yoest, will be the only pro-life leader apparently to testify before Congress during the confirmation hearings. A link was provided in their press release to a Sotmayor 411 report, which also has a comparison link for Sotomayor/Souter. None of this is surprising, given the choice American were offered last November. The main difference semms to be that Sotomayor views abortion as a fundamental constitutional right, whereas Souter doesn't quite go that far--states may place restrictions.

James, Thanks for the linkage back to AUL's Sotmayor[sic] 411 info.
