Just another small step toward full-scale religious persecution: The Tribune reports that Illinois has informed Catholic adoption agencies they will not accept their signed contracts because the Catholic agencies are not on board with adopting to "gay couples." It will continue. And get worse. There will be no repercussions. There is too much apathy on these matters with voters and citizens. The activists and the politicians know this, and are getting away with a radical agenda. Shame on Madigan and Quinn, both practicing Catholics.
Note the Orwellian name of the legislation the Catholic agencies are out of step with:
Each letter said funding was declined because “your agency has made it clear that it does not intend to comply with the Illinois Religious Freedom Protection and Civil Union Act,” which the state says requires prospective parents in civil unions to be treated the same as married couples.
