From Wheaton to Notre Dame

Christianity Today reports this morning that evangelical scholar Mark Noll is leaving Wheaton College for Notre Dame. Noll will be replacing retiring George Marsden, also a Protestant, on the Notre Dame faculty. Noll, of course, is author most recently of Is the Reformation Over?

I am waiting with expectancy for Noll's newest book The Civil War as a Theological Crisis.
