Just a quick note: I am still alive, and I haven't forgotten my promise to post some more about the engraved dismissal Christians are being handed to take their children out of the public schools, especially during the early years. Anyway, in case any of you are nearby and would be interested, I'm going to the justly renowned University of the South on Thursday, to speak at 4:30 (I am not certain in what building) on Dante. The talk is entitled, "Reason at the Threshold of Love," and deals with the poignant figure of Virgil in the Divine Comedy. I'd be delighted to meet any Touchstone stalwarts there, if you have a spare hour or two!
Wonderful place! My family spent many summers there while I was growing up, while my dad worked on his thesis. It was truly a Place that Time Forgot.

I wish I could. I don't suppose you want to come speak somewhere in the vicinity of Loudoun, Virginia?
May your talk go well!

Let's go Tigers,
Leave 'em in the Lurch.
Down with the Heathen,
Up with the Church.
Yea, Sewanee's Right!
