While the father of a Lockerbie victim pinned the release of the only convicted terrorist to Scotland's Christianity (my post yesterday), which is not understood by the FBI or the US, it seems that view is not accepted in the UK and that the release is giving political headaches to Prime Minister Brown. Scotland's Parliament also voted down the decision. It seems, surprise, surprise, political considerations trumped everything here, but the political considerations are ongoing now. It's hard to view this as "WWJD?" Indeed, when was the last time, or how often is, WWJD? decisive in the government of Scotland (or the UK)? Beware of politicians in Jesus' clothing.
