The public square isn't the place for debate. Just ask Terry Sanderson, director of the National Secular Society in the UK. Reacting to an ad from ChurchAds.net depicting baby Jesus in utero: "The image is too specifically associated with pro-lifers to be seen in a benign context."
Apparently ultrasounds, just like the humans they depict, are now to be seen as malignant and must therefore be quite literally cut out of our lives, both public and private. (HT: The Christian Post)
The commentary over at EpiscopalCafe was against the ad, too. I just had to represent the prolife wing of the ecclesial community.
