A few people have brought it to my attention that Touchstone is having an impact, not only in the real world, but in the world of fiction. In author Ray Keating's first novel, Warrior Monk, A Pastor Stephen Grant Novel, the hero, Stephen Grant, an ex-CIA agent turned-pastor of the Lutheran Church-Missouri Synod, reads Touchstone magazine. Pastor Grant also happens to save the life of the Pope, named Augustine. He's into a robust Mere Christianity, it seems. That must be why he reads Touchstone.
Ray Keating has written for Touchstone (here), in addition to the Wall Street Journal, The New York Times, The Washington Post, New York Post, Newsday, Los Angeles Daily News, The Boston Globe, Detroit Free Press, Chicago Tribune, Providence Journal Bulletin, and Cincinnati Enquirer.
Warrior Monk is available at Amazon here.
And Pastor Stephen Grant's favorite magazine, Touchstone, is available right here.
