I am not sure whether to be surprised or not. Just in from C-FAM on French high court decision that I missed last week.
I wonder if the inter-nationalists who want American Law to reflect European law will use this as an example. Some how I doubt it. Same with the Swiss prohibition against mosques.

I too, Michael, immediately wondered if U.S.Court Justices that like to consult foreign court decisions & legal measures will ever reference this one. Not likely I think.
But on a less cheery note, I fear that, at least for some of the magistrates that took part, this decision owes more to regard/fear of muslim reaction than to due regard for traditional ethics.
