Lecture by Simon Conway Morris, Lanier Theological Library

Folks in Texas will have the opportunity to hear noted paleontologist Simon Conway Morris lecture at the Lanier Theological Library, on Is Science an Enemy to Faith? The library is north of Houston. October 29, 2011. The event is free. Morris has been accused of being a creationist for publishing this 2009 article in the Guardian. If you give any room to "creation," you are no longer a respectable scientist, it seems. I've heard him speak (at Baylor in 2000) and while I don't think we agree on everything (!), I'd certainly try to go hear him again if I happened to be near Houston on October 29.
